I’ve seen the beautiful bowls of folded recycled paper on the net a couple of times and always felt like I should try to do one. The one below has the description here.

This felt like a good project to take on as I had a good glossy magazine to use. Just showing a few images while making it, for a better description use the one I link to above.

For sealing the bowl I used a adhesive for wood, the choice was not completely a choice but more a lazy try since we had it at home. But when I think about it, it’s not that bad of a choice since paper is made from wood… And the end result, quite good I think I will use it as a gift for a friend who will soon defend her thesis (I hope and guess that she is not reading my blog) and also I’ll make a few and see if anyone wants to buy one:
